Dennis and his wife Karen grew up in Texas but have lived in Warrensburg since 1986. They have four adult children who are all married and a granddaughter. Dennis is a licensed professional counselor who specializes in helping adults in a wide variety of experiences. Prior to leading MercyTree, Dennis served on the pastoral staff at FBC Warrensburg for 14 years and as the Director of the Baptist Collegiate Ministries at UCM for 15 years.

Dave White
Spiritual Counselor
Reverend Dave White has been involved with recovery ministry since 1980, working in Oklahoma, Ohio, New York and Missouri. He became a licensed worker in 1987 with the Christian & Missionary Alliance and later ordained in that denomination in 1989. Dave attended Nyack College and Alliance Theological Seminary in Nyack, NY and received his B.S. in Organizational Management in 2002. Dave has worked with people in his youth and adult ministry career struggling with addiction and assisting them in their recovery for several years by profession and most currently for the State of Missouri. After overcoming addictions in his own life through his personal relationship with Jesus Christ, Dave has sought to assist others through spiritual counseling to give them the same opportunity that was afforded him. Dave’s non-judgmental approach addressing addictive behavior coupled with faith and practical steps allows his clients to experience the same life-changing victories consistent throughout the Scriptures.
